Embodied Pathways to Healing

  • The Art of Becoming Collective 523 Remington St, Suite A Fort Collins United States (map)

Our relationship with our bodies can be complex. We live within spaces and systems that often encourage disconnection from our bodies. Shame, control, objectification, trauma, and dehumanization can impact the way we relate to our bodies and to the bodies of those around us.

Come join us for an evening as we explore the messages we have learned about our bodies and how these messages affect us. An invitation to explore what a more curious and integrated way of living might look like, and how listening to our bodies can offer something of value to our healing and wholeness, both individually and collectively.

Offerings:

  • Mindfulness tools to bring attention and curiosity as we turn towards our bodies

  • Grounding practices to support regulation

  • A creative project

Book Resources & Recommendations:

  • Practices for Embodied Living by Hillary McBride

  • My Grandmothers Hands by Resmaa Menakem

  • Try Softer by Aundi Kolber
