Come, join us as we deep dive into the well of motherhood grief and listen to our own insides and the echos of “me too” from those mothering around us. As women, we often learn to mask in order to belong. As mothers, we are told in unspoken ways to swing for this quintessential ideal of a mother- an archetype that often leaves us feeling burnt out, empty, confused and deeply alone. We want to tear our hair out as we ask out there, “which is it?” martyrdom, career-driven mom, as we teeter between too much and not enough, disappointing the empty facade of what a mother should be. We are left dried out, breaking, wondering I don’t even know who I am? So, during this hour we will touch our own story of mothering, excavate the grief that has likely gone untouched or unacknowledged and soak in the community of others saying “we feel this too”.
